Fever Pitch

Its about this time ever year that it gets pretty hard for people to concentrate at work and school. Apparently, U.S. companies sustain millions of dollars in lost productivity because people are too busy concentrating on the NCAA tournament. (See CNN article for more). And the NCAA isn't doing anything to help this situation by offering *free* live feeds of all the NCAA tournament games online through their website. Criminal Procedure class will never be the same when I can't get a live feed of college BB games on my laptop!

I am no exception to the loss in work phenomenon. With spring break right around the corner - yes, we still get spring break in law school :-) - next week is looking bleak. Its going to be hard not to fill and re-fill out my bracket during each class and spend a lot of free time analyzing win-loss records of the field of 65 while daydreaming about getting out of town with my friends the following week.
