Unmitigated Gall

I recently discovered the identity of a highly ranked individual in my 1L class. Interviews are also going on right now for summer jobs and clerkships. Today, I found out this person has quite an ego, as well. Apparently she was not hired for a couple of the jobs she applied for and sent angry emails out to those firms. Something about how can you not hire the number 1 person with impeccable academic credentials, etc. etc. Too bad, buddy. I'm sure things will pick up for you, but I have to say that your common sense does not quite match your intellectual skills. Attorneys talk to each other. They will talk about the student who thought she was a real hot shot and sent angry emails chastizing law firms for not hiring her. This is kind of like an article I saw the other day, though not nearly as bad. At least she didn't follow up the rejection by saying "bla bla bla" to the hiring firm. Angry law student email.
