Late Night TV

A little TV before going to bed is nice. I usually ending up watching one of the 24 hour news channels like FNC or CNN. I usually get a kick out of the wide range of commercials they show. But there is one in particular I have really come to enjoy because it really makes me wonder about this guy.

Its the Oreck Vacuum pitched by David Oreck. He seems like this really nice guy in the commercials. Like it actually has me tricked that this is a really genuine guy who really wants to help me out with his vacuum. He'll even pay to have it shipped back.

But I've learned to be wary of such people. When I was a kid there were these carpet commercials where the guy always had his appropriately named dog Ruggles beside him. I always thought what a nice guy he seemed like in the commercials. But then my dad told me one day that he was a real dick. He didn't use those words, but that was the gist of it.
