Dogsitting

Just got done dogsitting for the weekend. My parents were near my city to take my younger brother to a basketball tournament and I offered to take care of the dog this weekend.

I've thought about getting a dog but I have had reservations. I'm glad I did this small test run. First of all, if I did get one, I would not want to housetrain it in the winter. It was -2 degrees outside last night and the dog really didn't seem to mind. Even though this dog is house trained, he pooed in the corner of my apartment a couple different times. I think he was mad for not playing with him enough. (Even though I spent hours throwing a stuffed toy across the room that he would bring back each time).

It was a good test run. I had a lot of fun taking care of the dog, but I don't think I want to get one while living at an apartment complex. Maybe someday, but I'll stick to the family dog visiting for the weekend every now and then.
